Adult Sunday School Our adult classes are communities within community. We sit around the table together weekly and forge friendship around our shared faith. All are welcome!

Annual Fall Fun Fest The public is welcomed in each fall as the church organizes a family event the Thursday before Halloween.

Bible Study Two groups meet throughout the school year for a round-the-table discussion of Scripture. Pastor Brent guides the group through books of the Bible. Open conversation is nurtured, and no question, comment, or challenge is discouraged. The goal is to come to God's Word honestly. All ages benefit from these studies.

Children's Sunday School Hands-on and informal, open to all ages and abilities, our Sunday School hour is nurturing and uplifting, overseen by safe and compassionate adults. Welcoming children into a fresh experience of faith at each stage of their growth builds a foundation for a life lived for Christ.

Community Care Group Events Our Care Group organizes social events like game nights, potlucks, and concerts to foster connection and belonging within the community of faith. There is at least one social event each month of the year. Always fun, always open to everyone.

Community Meals Each month during the school year, a hot meal is offered, by donation, no obligation, to the community. This is a wonderful evening of fellowship open to all.

Harvest Home This long-standing tradition continues and flourishes at Marion First. Each November our folks collect pantry items and assemble grocery boxes for households in need of some extra love.

Mission Central Volunteering Monthly during the school year we take a carpool to the Mission Central warehouse to help organize items for relief aid that is sent around the world.

Power Pack The Marion Elementary School is an integral part of the Marion community. Our church folks purchase and prepare weekend lunch bags for students who qualify for the Power Pack Program.

Stitch1, Pray 2 Stitch 1, Pray 2 is a prayer shawl ministry whose mission is to provide a tangible expression of God’s love through the work of loving hands.  Each shawl is prayerfully made and consecrated by God at a worship service to be a blessing to the person who will receive it.   We welcome anyone who knits, crochets, or wants to learn.

Volleyball Night Once a week during the school year our gym is open for everyone who enjoys a lighthearted, friendly game. Community is strengthened and friendships forged.

Yearly Community Egg Hunt Each spring our congregation hosts an Easter Egg Hunt for the children in our neighborhood. This is a gift of love, fucused around the welcome of Christ.

Youth Group Sunday evenings we welcome junior and senior high students into community around food, fun, open-hearted friendship, and honest conversation about life and faith.

Martial Arts Classes Join us for a wonder experience in the martial arts of Tae Kwon Do and Hap Ki Do. Classes are taught by two lifetime martial artists.    Adult Tae Kwon Do is offered Monday and Thursday nights from 6-7:30, and Children's classes Tuesday and Thursday from 4:30-5:30.    Hap Ki Do is teen and adult and offered Saturdays from 9-10.     Cost is donation at your discretion.
